Our kids are all angels, study finds. Really?
Mon Dec 13, 2010
Seems like at least that part of the study was kind of silly. Life often isn't black or white. And when it comes to children, behavior usually lies somewhere on a continuum. I would hate to be asked if my children were well behaved or disobedient.
Colbert offers his take on 'The View' walkout
Tue Oct 19, 2010
I'm sure the "walk off" was at least partly motivated by frustration that they couldn't get a word in edgewise. Bill was the one who was rude--he seems to think that talking loudly over everyone makes him right. It doesn't make him right, it just shows that he is afraid of a real dialogue.
Badly burned Texas man waits for face transplant
Tue Oct 19, 2010
You're right, Kevin C--private businesses should be permitted to screw over the people who through no fault of their own struggle and suffer because of health problems. (Please note sarcasm.)
Faces of the Tea Party - A freshman
Mon Oct 18, 2010
Enough! I've seen enough faces of the Tea Party to last me a lifetime. Can we move on from this, PLEASE?!?! We get it--lots of faces. Lots of faces in the other political parties, too. How about some of those?
FDA approves Botox for migraine headaches
Fri Oct 15, 2010
As a chronic migraine sufferer (who has tried just about everything--from acupuncture to lamictal to snorting cayenne pepper) I would try botox, but only as an experiment and with the hope that it would give me more of an improvement than the modest improvement indicated by the research.
Neil Patrick Harris now a dad to twin boy and girl
Fri Oct 15, 2010
It's inevitable that people will find out--they might as well announce it. I'm sure they appreciate their fans. But that doesn't mean that they need to be or are asking to be harassed by paparazzi or asked invasive questions by tabloid reporters.
